Deputy Head of the Department of Methodology of Remuneration and Organization of Social Benefits

About the Position

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announces a tender for the position of civil service category “B” - Deputy Head of the Department of Methodology of Remuneration and Organization of Social Benefits of the Department of Financial and Accounting Policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes labor legislation
• Prepares methodological materials, certificates, etc., on the issues of remuneration
• Supervises the establishment of salaries, allowances, surcharges, bonuses, etc.
• Controls the status of salary payments in institutions
• Prepares draft laws, resolutions, and other normative and legal acts relating to wages
• Coordinates draft laws and legal acts prepared by other structural units
• Implements legal acts on the observance of equal rights and opportunities
• Participates in the elaboration of orders on organizational and staff changes
• Considers and prepares draft responses to requests and appeals

Requirements

• Education: Higher education with a degree not lower than a master's degree in the field of knowledge “Economics and Entrepreneurship”
• Work Experience: Experience in public service positions of categories “B” or “C”, experience in local self-government bodies, or managerial positions for at least two years
• Proficiency in the State Language: Fluency in the state language

• Liability: Awareness of the importance of high-quality performance of official duties, readiness to be responsible for the consequences of decisions, and the ability to take on commitments and fulfill them.
• Initiativeness: Ability to offer ideas and proposals without outside encouragement and awareness of the need to independently look for opportunities for high-quality performance.

Professional Knowledge

• Knowledge of Legislation: Constitution of Ukraine, Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”, Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption”, and other relevant legislation.
• Knowledge of Legislation in the Field: The Code of Labor Laws of Ukraine, Law of Ukraine “On Wages”, Law of Ukraine “On the Appeal of Citizens”, Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information”, Law of Ukraine “On the Status of People's Deputy of Ukraine”.

Salary

• Official salary: 12,100 UAH
• Allowances, surcharges, bonuses, and compensation in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”
• Increase to the official salary for the rank of civil servant in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017 No. 15
