About the Position
We are looking for a Design Engineer Automotive to join our team at TMC in Göteborg, Sweden. In this role, you will work on the development, design, and optimization of mechanical and electrical systems. You will be an essential part of the product development process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop components and systems for commercial vehicles.
- Utilize CAD tools (Catia, Creo, or Siemens NX) to create and optimize designs.
- Ensure designs meet functional, safety, and sustainability requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.
- Work on the entire product development cycle, from concepts to industrialization.
Requirements
- A diploma in engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of four years of experience in mechanical design and product development within the automotive industry in Sweden.
- Proficiency in CAD tools.
- Strong technical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
