About the Position

We are looking for a Developer with Japanese to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Developer with Japanese, you will implement Guidewire Insurance Suite solutions for international clients, configure Guidewire modules, and work on integrations between Guidewire and external systems.

Responsibilities

Implement Guidewire Insurance Suite solutions for international clients.
Implement and configure Guidewire modules: Claim Center, Policy Center, Billing Center.
Implement integrations between Guidewire and external systems.
Depending on experience, project role, and career path – implement, design, test, or provide technical leadership on projects.
Work directly with clients in different markets and be an active member of an agile project team.

Requirements

First commercial experience as a software developer, preferably in Gosu, or Java (with readiness to learn new technology).
Great command of English (at least B2) and Japanese (at least N2) language.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices.
Solid understanding of software engineering concepts.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Availability for full-time employment.
Ability to work in Malaysia.

Nice to Have

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a supportive yet challenging environment.
Eagerness to learn about new technologies and solutions.
Willingness to travel regularly.
Any of the following: Web services (REST/SOAP), Microservices, JMS knowledge, Spring, or any similar hands-on experience.
