About the Position

East Europe Foundation announces a competition for the position of Development Associate. Reporting to the EEF Development and M&E Manager, the Development Associate will provide support to the Development Team in coordinating work processes, preparing and submitting project concepts and proposals.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Implementation of Development Activities:

Monitoring grant competitions and other funding opportunities
Contributing to proposal development by searching and analyzing background information and preparing high-quality supporting documents
Keeping accurate and up-to-date development records
Translating small documents required for proposal development
Performing other duties as needed

Networking and Cooperation:

Cooperating closely with EEF program staff and other units regarding proposals’ development
Coordinating and cooperating with other development partners and civil society representatives

Knowledge Management:

Collecting activity data and keeping up databases
Contributing to the development of reports and presentations
Participating in training related to professional responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Economics, or other relevant discipline
At least two years of relevant experience
Experience working in non-government organizations or donor-funded project environment
Good communication skills in Ukrainian and English
Proficiency in MS Office tools
