DevOps Engineer / Kubernetes Administrator

About the Position

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer / Kubernetes Administrator to join a team responsible for implementing, administering, and developing highly available on-premises Kubernetes platforms.

Location: Lisbon or Oporto

Contract: Permanent

Type: Full time

Salary: €40,000 to €45,000

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and operate Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes-based container platforms.
• Automate infrastructure configuration and operations using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement and maintain GitOps practices using ArgoCD.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Manage virtualized platforms and bare metal infrastructure.
• Administer distributed storage solutions based on Rook and Ceph.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, observability, and logging solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on the adoption of DevOps best practices.
• Ensure high levels of platform availability, performance, and security.

Requirements

• At least two years of proven experience in:

  • Administering, designing, implementing, and operating Kubernetes platforms.
  • Container technologies, including Docker, Podman, or equivalent solutions.
  • Configuring and managing Infrastructure as Code using Ansible.
  • Administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
  • CI/CD tools and methodologies, including GitOps, ArgoCD, GitLab, and pipelines.
  • Virtualized infrastructure, including VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, OpenShift, and bare metal servers.
  • Administering Rook and Ceph storage solutions.
  • Monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or an equivalent certification in Kubernetes platform administration.

• Experience with Ansible.
