About the Position

Moorgate, a recruitment firm providing top-quality services to clients seeking high-class IT specialists or managers, is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer for our client, an international FinTech company and a leader in its sector. The position is based in Warszawa, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance, and customization of platforms and software dedicated to the product for the global company structure
• Proposing improvements to the produced software considering the use of the latest technologies
• Determining the direction of technology development for the project needs
• Creating and managing automation processes and the release automation process of Java applications based on Cloud Architecture
• Working on a series of projects involving the maintenance and delivery of improvements to existing applications
• Creating and maintaining automation processes, release management, CI, deployment, test orchestration – projects are conducted using the Scrum methodology

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position
• Higher education in Computer Science or related fields
• Very good knowledge of English – work in an international environment
• Knowledge of CI, deployment, operations concepts, release management, deployment, process automation, and system building
• Experience with the following tools/technologies: Jenkins/Hudson, Nexus, GIT/Gerrit, Salt, Rundeck, ELK stack, TICK stack, Grafana, Splunk, GitHub, Apache, Jboss, Linux (RedHat, Centos)
• Experience with cloud solutions: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack
• Experience with Java applications – servlets – Jetty, Tomcat, or others; ability to program using scripting languages
