About the Position
We are seeking a Director of Platform Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in leadership and AI/XM to join our team in Austin, Texas, US. This is a direct hire opportunity, and the selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and management experience supporting customer-facing applications
- 2-3+ years of experience with Sitecore AI/XM
- Strong experience with search optimization tools like Coveo, Elasticsearch, Algolia
- Leadership experience of 2 engineers and a product owner
- Working cross-functionally with AI team, marketing team, 3rd party support for L1 monitoring
- 70% hands-on/30% leadership/management
- Experience with content creation and optimization with Sitecore AI tools
- AI-first approach - experience integrating Sitecore with other AI tools like Claude or Cursor
- Strong communication and collaboration with other business stakeholders
- Strong executive presence
- 100% Remote
