About the Position
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announces a tender for the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation in the civil service category “B”.
Responsibilities
- Supervises the activities, organization, and ensures the implementation by the Department of the tasks and functions specified in the Regulation on the Department for International Cooperation, the Regulation on the Ministry of Internal Affairs, management orders, and other directives.
- Ensures coordination of the activities of the Department within the limits of the powers delegated to it.
- Monitors, assesses the state of performance of tasks and functions assigned to the structural unit.
- Participates in the formation, coordination, and implementation of state policy in the field of international cooperation.
- Formulates proposals for promising directions of development in the field of international cooperation.
- Ensures the interaction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with representatives of law enforcement agencies of foreign states, diplomatic missions, and international organizations.
- Organizes events of an international nature and coordinates the implementation of agreements.
- Develops draft regulations and international treaties.
- Contributes to ensuring the implementation of a unified state policy aimed at achieving equal rights and opportunities for women and men.
- Ensures the preservation of information with limited access.
Requirements
- Education: Higher education with a degree not lower than a master's degree in the specialty “International Relations”, “Foreign Policy”, “International Law”.
- Work Experience: Experience in public service positions of categories “B” or “C”, or experience in managerial positions of enterprises, institutions, and organizations for at least two years.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Ukrainian and proficiency in one or more of the official languages of the Council of Europe.
