Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

On behalf of our client, an international generic pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the position of Директор продажів та маркетингу (Rx) in Узбекистан, Ташкент.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and driving business development activities across the region.
  • Marketing strategy development and implementation.
  • Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Product portfolio analysis & management.
  • Team recruitment and management.
  • Provides customer intelligence and evaluation of market & economic trends and adapts sales strategy to meet/exceed customer expectations, generates increased revenue, and ensures competitive position in our marketplace.
  • Coordinates/supports the development and execution of external and internal marketing initiatives that deliver measured results, help build brand awareness, increase brand equity and value, and achieve deposit growth targets.
  • Perform the overall management of the Sales & Marketing team (recruitment, coordinating, training, motivation, and development).
  • Conducting negotiations with clients and other external stakeholders to design new business models and strategies.
  • Budget analysis, planning, control, and execution.
  • Sales planning (planning and budgeting activities for the company's product promotion).
  • Sales plan execution (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and timely correction of promotion tactics.
  • Writing reports, sales literature, and marketing documents.
  • Company's position, competitive environment, and market analysis.

Requirements

  • University degree in Medicine/Pharmacy.
  • Additional education in Marketing would be a plus.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager in a generic global or middle-sized European pharmaceutical company in Uzbekistan.
  • Experience in Generic Rx medicines' promotion and sales in Uzbekistan.
  • Goal-oriented, strong communication, negotiations, and leadership skills, high self-motivation.
  • English: Upper-Intermediate.
