Position: [E&S] Principal Technical Presales Manager - Healthcare & MedTech (EMEA)

GlobalLogic is seeking a senior individual-contributor to drive our technical presales for Healthcare & Medical Devices in EMEA. You will own selected MedTech segments and solution areas end to end, from market positioning and offering development to technical leadership of pursuits. You will act as a trusted advisor to client R&D, Quality/Regulatory, and C-level stakeholders, with AI as a core part of every solution story.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow assigned MedTech segments in EMEA, including segment strategy, target accounts, and pipeline.
  • Drive assigned solution areas and define offerings, reference architectures, and go-to-market messaging.
  • Lead the technical solution for strategic pursuits: discovery, solution design, estimation, delivery model, and risk assessment.
  • Drive RFP/RFI responses and proactive proposals end to end, ensuring regulatory framing, compliance approach, and credible team ramps.
  • Position GlobalLogic’s AI capabilities in every relevant pursuit, including AI features in devices, GenAI/agentic solutions, and AI-accelerated engineering, in a regulation-aware way.
  • Shape and evangelize healthcare AI accelerators and reusable components, and translate them into client value propositions and demos.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Partners, and Delivery to shape deals, define win themes, and support pricing and commercial structuring.
  • Lead client workshops, orals, and executive presentations as a senior technical voice for GlobalLogic in Healthcare & MedTech.
  • Mentor architects and SMEs involved in pursuits within owned segments, providing technical direction without formal line management.
  • Build thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events on MedTech engineering and AI.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years in software engineering services or product R&D, including 3+ years in technical presales, solution architecture, or consulting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong MedTech background: hands-on experience delivering or selling regulated medical device software (SaMD/SiMD) under IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
    • Working knowledge of FDA (510(k), De Novo, PCCP, cybersecurity premarket guidance) and EU MDR/IVDR requirements and how they shape scope, estimates, and delivery models.
    • Practical expertise in AI/GenAI for healthcare: AI-enabled medical devices, the ML lifecycle under regulatory constraints, LLM/agentic solutions, and AI-assisted SDLC.
    • Demonstrated ability to own a market segment or solution area, including offering definition, positioning, and pipeline generation, without direct reports.
    • Ability to build solution architectures, estimates, and delivery models, and defend them in front of client engineering and procurement.
    • Solid grasp of modern engineering: cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), connected devices and IoT, embedded, and data platforms.
    • Executive presence and storytelling skills, comfortable with VP/C-level audiences at medical device and healthcare companies.
    • Willingness to travel across EMEA and occasionally to North America.
    • English at C1 level or higher.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the EU AI Act, FDA AI/ML guidance (including PCCP), and GMLP, and their impact on AI product development.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, IHE) and hospital IT (HIS, LIS, PACS).
  • Familiarity with IEC 81001-5-1, IEC 60601-1, and GDPR/HIPAA implications for device and AI software.
  • Established network among EMEA MedTech OEMs, diagnostics, or healthtech companies.
  • Background at a medical device manufacturer (R&D, Quality, or Regulatory) in addition to services experience.
  • Additional EMEA languages (German, French, Italian, Nordic, or Polish).
  • Proven track record of winning large, complex deals (multi-million EUR/USD, multi-year) through RFPs, RFIs, and proactive proposals.
