About the Position

Embedded QA Automation Engineer with Python (f/m/x)

Join our Testing and Validation team to ensure the reliability and performance of programmable Ethernet switch software. You will design and implement automation frameworks and network test scenarios to verify cutting-edge hardware and software solutions. By joining us, you become a member of the Embedded Competence Center at Sii, an internal organizational unit that brings together over 500 specialists from across the country. We are currently working on around 100 projects for 50 clients in various industries, including automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical sectors.

Responsibilities

• Проектування та впровадження автоматизованих тестових наборів для програмного забезпечення та прошивки комутаторів
• Розробка фреймворків тестування на основі Python для функціонального та продуктивного тестування
• Виконання регресійного, стресового та системного тестування апаратних платформ
• Інтеграція автоматизованих тестів у CI/CD конвеєри
• Співпраця з розробниками для виявлення, відтворення та перевірки виправлень програмних помилок

Requirements

• Мінімум 5 років комерційного досвіду на подібній посаді
• Великий досвід автоматизації тестування на основі Python
• Знання фреймворків автоматизації мереж та середовищ Linux
• Практичний досвід тестування фізичних та віртуальних комутаторів і маршрутизаторів L2/L3
• Досвід роботи з інструментами CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab тощо)
• Самостійність, аналітичний склад розуму, відмінні навички командної роботи
• Добре володіння англійською мовою (усна та письмова, для щоденного спілкування)
• Обов’язкове податкове резидентство в Україні

Nice to Have

• Знання C/C++
• Досвід роботи з Docker, Ansible або Vagrant
• Знайомство з генераторами трафіку (IxNetwork, Spirent, TRex)
