About the Position

We are seeking an Embedded Wireless Audio SW Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Product Division, which develops, produces, and distributes audio, video, IT, and communication solutions. Responsibilities

• Develop software components for wireless-enabled embedded devices and communication platforms.
• Implement audio and communication services to ensure reliable real-time operation and connectivity.
• Integrate wireless platform drivers and middleware into embedded Linux environments.
• Develop and maintain device-side communication features, supporting seamless interoperability across systems.
• Enable mobility and handover scenarios to ensure uninterrupted communication and user experience.
• Design and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures for embedded applications.
• Optimize software performance, reliability, and resource utilization across embedded platforms.
• Collaborate closely with RF, System, and Hardware teams to deliver fully integrated wireless communication solutions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Strong experience in embedded Linux development and software engineering for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and the development of low-level software components, drivers, and middleware.
• Experience with real-time communication systems and device-side communication technologies.
• Solid understanding of audio technologies, Audio-over-IP solutions, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of SIP/VoIP technologies, TCP/IP networking fundamentals, and distributed communication systems.
• Experience with software debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system integration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional development environments; fluent English required, German is a plus.
