Employee Engineering & Support / (junior) PLC programmer

As a programmer in this innovative environment, you contribute to the quality of JUMO every day. You manage a lot of knowledge about our products so that you can easily solve any challenge the customer has with them. You are responsible for providing correct technical service to customers and colleagues. You do this from our fine office in Weesp, where employees meet daily. We are looking for a technical consultant/PLC programmer who is motivated to grow with this ambitious organisation!

Responsibilities

You and your colleagues from the Engineering & Support department ensure that all questions from internal and external customers about JUMO equipment and related matters are resolved.

Some of your tasks include:

• Acting as a point of contact for technical challenges for customers and employees;
• Implementing and configuring systems;
• Utilizing your knowledge of measurement and control technology to optimize processes;
• Providing support to account managers;
• Configuring and programming our hardware (PID controllers, PLCs, etc.).

Requirements

You will be responsible for various products, and it is expected that you proactively take ownership of them. We are looking for a motivated, precise, reliable, and honest colleague. Additionally, you are eager to master the following areas:

• A customer-focused attitude;
• Process technology;
• Measurement and control technology (PID);
• Affinity with and knowledge of PLC systems;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Strong analytical skills and a clear, persuasive communication style;
• Minimum of mbo+ (secondary vocational education) work and thinking level.

Nice to Have

• Communication in English;
• Communication in German.
