Engineering Manager

We are seeking an Engineering Manager for a hybrid day shift role to drive the design and delivery of enterprise solutions built on .NET and.NET API technologies. This role will promote robust coding standards and secure integration patterns. The Engineering Manager will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams to create scalable applications for governance, risk, and compliance-focused environments, ensuring outcomes align with business goals and societal trust in digital services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise applications built on.NET and.NET API technologies, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and security expectations for global stakeholders.
• Oversee hybrid engineering teams by organizing work, clarifying technical priorities, and enabling effective collaboration across onsite and remote contributors to sustain predictable delivery outcomes.
• Provide detailed technical guidance on architecture design patterns and integration approaches for .NET-based services, promoting reusable components and maintainable code structures across products.
• Drive consistent adoption of secure coding practices and robust API design standards, reducing defects and vulnerabilities while supporting compliance expectations in risk-sensitive environments.
• Manage backlog refinement and sprint planning activities with data-informed decisions, aligning engineering tasks with product goals and removing blockers that impact throughput and quality.
• Coordinate closely with product and business partners to translate governance, risk, and compliance domain requirements into clear technical specifications that engineers can implement reliably.
• Guide implementation of automated testing strategies, including unit and integration coverage for.NET and API components, improving release confidence and minimizing regression incidents in production.
• Monitor production health through metrics and incident reviews, directing targeted remediation work that stabilizes services and enhances the reliability of applications used in critical business processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback loops, mentoring engineers, and promoting experimentation with modern .NET tooling that increases developer efficiency and solution value.
• Collaborate with security and compliance specialists to embed appropriate controls into system design, helping organizations manage risk more transparently and strengthening trust in digital operations.
• Coordinate documentation of key engineering decisions, API contracts, and operational runbooks so cross-functional teams can support and evolve .NET-based platforms over time with minimal disruption.
• Champion accessibility, performance, and usability considerations in technical decisions to ensure that delivered solutions positively impact end users and contribute to inclusive and responsible technology adoption.
• Support hiring and capability development activities for engineering staff by defining skill expectations, coaching on best practices, and nurturing growth paths that align with organizational technology strategy.

Requirements

• Demonstrate deep experience designing and delivering production-grade applications using .NET frameworks and .NET API technologies with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and service-oriented architectures.
• Possess strong skills in API design, versioning, and documentation with practical exposure to integrating .NET services into complex enterprise ecosystems that demand reliability and observability.
• Bring familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance domain concepts such as control frameworks, risk assessment workflows, and audit readiness so technical solutions reflect regulatory and policy needs.
• Show proficiency in hybrid work collaboration practices using modern communication and tracking tools to coordinate activities across distributed teams without impacting delivery timelines.
• Exhibit advanced capability in written and spoken English, enabling clear requirement discussions, concise technical documentation, and effective coordination with global stakeholders and partners.

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate or equivalent .NET platform certification and any recognized credential in governance, risk, and compliance.
