About the Position
We are seeking an Engineering Manager, Oracle ERP (NetSuite) to lead revenue recognition solution design and delivery across Order-to-Cash and Advanced Revenue Management. You will partner with stakeholders, produce high-quality specs and code, and support production revenue processes in a remote setup-apply now.
Responsibilities
- Lead revenue recognition solution planning and design using native NetSuite capabilities as the foundation
- Design and optimize NetSuite ARM and OTC configurations to support revenue recognition requirements
- Elicit requirements from stakeholders and translate challenges into actionable recommendations
- Write functional specifications and capture design documentation aligned to standards
- Build demo code and deliver full code solutions for NetSuite revenue recognition needs
- Implement scripts and RESTlets with unit tests and adherence to project standards
- Coordinate with developers, QA, and analysts to execute end-to-end SDLC delivery
- Validate solutions using defined test and verification protocols
- Provide post-production support for NetSuite ERP functions with emphasis on revenue recognition
- Analyze existing implementation artifacts and incorporate senior management direction into improvements
- Maintain high-quality item catalog and record structure practices within NetSuite
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and the team
Requirements
- 7+ years of NetSuite ERP experience with revenue recognition implementations
- Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) experience supporting revenue recognition use cases
- Order-to-Cash (OTC) process experience in NetSuite
- Hands-on NetSuite development experience with scripts and RESTlets
- People leadership skills at an Associate Manager level with a team-oriented approach
- Project ownership skills across requirements, design, implementation, verification, and support
- Strong accounting knowledge in Accounting & Financial Reporting and Revenue Accounting
- Strong revenue management skills across revenue recognition processes and controls
- Excellent documentation skills for functional specifications and design artifacts
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear verbal and written communication
- High initiative and self-starter mindset with minimal oversight needed
- Advanced English proficiency (C1, Advanced)
- Availability to work daily from 8am ET to 5pm ET
Nice to Have
- NetSuite certifications in development and/or revenue recognition
- Atlassian Jira experience in delivery tracking and collaboration
- Atlassian Confluence experience in maintaining specifications and design docs
- GitHub experience for source control and code reviews
- Software Development Methodologies knowledge across full SDLC practices
