The Enterprise Data Manager (EDM) is a pivotal, new role within our organization. In this capacity, you will contribute to the ongoing professionalization of Data Management within our new SAP landscape.

You will shape a new collaborative structure involving Data Owners and Data Stewards, both nationally and internationally. You will bring these stakeholders together, ensuring that processes, governance, and responsibilities are further developed and firmly established within the organization.

This is a senior individual contributor role, without direct line responsibility. You will develop and manage processes, facilitate collaboration, and further build the Data Management capability within the organization.

The role initially reports to the Manager Data & AI and will eventually position itself within a Digital Transformation Office.

Responsibilities

• You will guide the Data Management Office and further develop the various components of Data Management.
• You will develop and implement a clear Data Governance structure, with defined standards, guidelines, and responsibilities.
• You will strengthen data ownership and data quality, enhancing the reliability and consistency of data within the organization.
• You will contribute to a scalable and future-proof data landscape.
• You will connect business, IT, and various stakeholders, creating support for new Data Management practices.
• You will make the value of Data Management visible and ensure that data contributes to better decision-making, more efficient processes, and increased business value.

Requirements

• You have a higher education degree (HBO or WO).
• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Management and Data Governance.
• You have experience in setting up Data Governance and guiding organizational change.
• You have broad knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Architecture.
• You are a strong connector between business and IT, capable of inspiring and engaging various stakeholders.
• You combine strategic insight with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach.
• You communicate convincingly and have excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
