ETL Developer

About the Position

We are currently seeking an ETL Developer for our client, an international fintech company, located in Warszawa, Poland. The role involves working on database design and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Designing databases and ETL processes;
• Tuning performance, optimizing, and maintaining database systems;
• Modifying databases and data flow systems according to specifications and testing solutions;
• Collaborating with other developers and working with users to gather and implement business requirements;
• Supporting end-users in data management;
• Creating user manuals;

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience in developing ETL processes and databases/data warehouses;
• Very good knowledge of data management (consent, data recovery, security, and monitoring);
• Very good knowledge of Oracle databases and practical experience with ELT tools (preferred experience with ODI or another tool);
• Knowledge of Big Data and a willingness to develop in this area (e.g., Kafka, Hive, Impala, MongoDB, Spark) is welcome;
• Highly developed analytical and organizational skills;
• Ability to understand user requirements for the front-end part of the application and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication skills;
• Very good knowledge of the English language;
