About the Position

Are you an experienced Midwife looking to take the next step in your career in Ireland? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Irish maternity service for dedicated and highly experienced Midwives to join a busy and supportive hospital maternity team. This is an excellent opportunity for Midwives currently working overseas, Irish Midwives wishing to return home, and international candidates seeking a long-term career within the Irish public healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, woman-centred care in a maternity hospital setting.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Support thousands of births annually with safe and effective midwifery care.

Requirements

• Currently working as a Midwife.
• Minimum of 6 years' post-registration Midwifery experience.
• Experience in a maternity hospital/service with at least 4,000 births annually.
• Valid NMBI Decision Letter in the Midwifery Division (valid until at least May 2027).
• Valid OET result (valid until at least July 2027).
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, woman-centred care.
