Executive, Business Development (Lucena/Candelaria)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team in Lucena/Candelaria, Philippines. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company by acquiring new restaurant partners, closing deals, and exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new restaurants to partner with foodpanda
• Exhaust leads and close deals through cold calling, fieldwork, and virtual presentations
• Effectively and creatively present foodpanda’s packages to potential vendors
• Work closely with other departments to ensure successful vendor incubation
• Exceed sales goals and contribute to the continuous growth of foodpanda
• Be the local representative in the area, monitoring competitor activities and gathering feedback
• Provide valuable recommendations for improvements to management based on feedback from partner restaurants

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mass communication, or related area
• At least 1 - 2 years of experience in sales, business development, upselling, or similar areas, preferably with field sales experience
• Good understanding of Sales Pipeline Management
• Excellent communication skills, preferably comfortable speaking in English, Filipino, and the local dialect
• Open to fresh graduates with sales experience through internships
• Willingness to do extensive fieldwork within Quezon Province (Lucena/Candelaria)
• Persuasive and highly motivated to over-achieve sales targets
• Ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers/clients
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is an advantage
• Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently
