Executive, Business Development

About the Position

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at foodpanda. You will play a crucial role in driving our growth by acquiring new restaurants and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new restaurants to partner with foodpanda
• Close deals with target restaurants through cold calling, fieldwork, and virtual presentations
• Effectively present foodpanda’s packages to potential vendors
• Work closely with other departments for successful vendor incubation
• Exceed sales goals and contribute to the continuous growth of foodpanda
• Monitor competitor activities and provide recommendations to ensure a healthy market share
• Gather feedback from partner restaurants and provide valuable recommendations for improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mass communication, or related area
• At least 1 - 2 years of experience in sales, business development, upselling, and similar areas
• Good understanding of Sales Pipeline Management
• Good communication skills, preferably comfortable speaking in English, Filipino, and the local dialect
• Open for fresh graduates with sales experience through internships
• Willingness to do extensive fieldwork within Makati, Taguig, and Pateros
• Persuasive and highly motivated to over-achieve sales targets
• Excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice and a friendly rapport with customers/clients
• Ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers/clients
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is an advantage
• Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can work independently
