Executive Director Service Line - Cardiology

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director for the Cardiology Service Line to join Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, Michigan. This role is pivotal in providing strategic and operational leadership across the health system, partnering with the Medical Director and key leaders to drive growth, quality, patient experience, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Lead service line strategy, growth, and provider workforce planning.
• Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with physician and operational leaders to achieve quality, experience, engagement, and financial goals.
• Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, efficient staffing, and continuous improvement.
• Integrated Care: Advance integrated, patient-centered care across the continuum.
• Partnership Development: Foster key partnerships, support provider recruitment, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Specialization: Cardiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of practice operations, revenue cycle, and financial management.
• Skills: Proven success leading teams and driving change in complex healthcare environments. Experience with strategic planning, operational improvement, and technology optimization.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with physicians and key stakeholders.
