About the Position

Expert Data Engineer

We are seeking an Expert Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience to design and build modern data platforms and products across cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

As an Expert Data Engineer, you will:

Design, build, test, and deploy cloud and on-premise data models and transformations
Develop and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines
Onboard new data sources and build data ingestion frameworks
Design, build, test, and deploy cloud data warehouses and data products
Optimize data views and schemas for reporting and visualization use cases
Review, interpret, and implement business and technical requirements
Collaborate on backlog refinement, user stories, and epics in Jira
Ensure data platform performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

7+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer
Strong SQL and Python skills
Experience with data modeling
Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data lakehouse architectures
Hands-on experience with GCP data engineering tools
Very good knowledge of BigQuery
Experience with DBT, Airflow, and Trino
Understanding of CI/CD principles and practices
Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines

Nice to Have

Experience with Spark/PySpark
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Apache Superset
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with Databricks
