What we are looking for:

Currently, we have open positions in various locations for Java Backend Experts who want to develop their careers at GFT. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic people willing to start and grow in a multicultural, motivating, and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

Although they will depend on your profile and experience, in general, the main functions you would carry out with us are:

• Analyze and Program both on existing code and from scratch, and maintain software modules of medium complexity, working from detailed requirements and specifications in oral and written form.
• Perform code reviews of other developers and provide improvement points.
• Provide support to junior profiles acting as a reference point when they need help or support on specific topics.
• Assist in the development of software module prototypes and applications.
• Develop unit tests and take responsibility for the unit testing of your own code.
• Consolidate the knowledge of all the testing and bug tracking tools and templates used within the project.
• Participate in different phases of the development cycle.

Requirements

• Graduated in Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• Graduated in Higher or Medium Vocational Training in Computer Science.

Experience in Java development, Spring Boot microservices under AWS environment
Other Frontend technologies such as Angular are valued

• Communication skills, favoring dynamics that allow the flow of knowledge, with interest in both learning and teaching.
