About the Position
Fabric Developer
We are seeking a Senior Fabric Developer with expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and data engineering to join our team in Finland. This is a Consultant Role.
Responsibilities
Fabric & Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric - OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory / Data Pipelines, Synapse Data Engineering
- Solid Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Good understanding of data modelling - star schema, medallion architecture, ideally Data Vault
- Experience with modern ELT/ETL approaches
BI & Reporting
- Strong Power BI skills - semantic (tabular) modelling, advanced DAX, Power Query (M)
- Report and dashboard design, including workspace and deployment management
Engineering Practice
- Comfortable working with version control and CI/CD for data workloads (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
- Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy - including GDPR - as core parts of the build, not an afterthought
Consulting & Client-Facing Skills
- Confidence presenting to and facilitating discussions with non-technical stakeholders
- A consultative mindset - listening, connecting technology to business needs, and making clear, defensible recommendations
- Ability to run workshops, gather and challenge requirements, and act as a trusted advisor
Language & Ways of Working
- Fluent Finnish and working proficiency in English (client work is often conducted in Finnish)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a deliverable through to a production-ready result
