About the Position
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team and provide on-site installation, servicing, and repair of UCT products. This role ensures customer satisfaction and drives continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for on-site installation, servicing, and repair of UCT products in the field
- Provide regular updates on field failures and reliability issues at operations meetings, quality meetings, and through written field services reports
- Represent UCT at customer sites
- Instruct and train customers in the operation and maintenance of UCT systems
- Initiate corrective action through the corrective action/customer complaint database and field service reports
- Communicate regularly with account managers, sales support staff, operations groups, and the customer via phone, email, and UCT website
Requirements
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years of field service experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry highly preferred
- Hands-on experience building and/or maintaining semiconductor process equipment, preferably gas delivery systems desired
