Field Service Engineer (CSM)

We design, supply, and operate a range of water systems, from Oil & Gas applications to municipal water, to microelectronics ultrapure water and heavy industrial wastewater treatment. Our portfolio of technologies includes solids-contact clarification, membrane & media filtration, electrolysis, digestion, evaporation, ozone/UV disinfection, and more. Our portfolio also includes chemicals & monitoring solutions, start-up & operation, membrane & ion exchange products, and custom engineered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine servicing for existing customers according to contract commitments.
• Sampling and testing of water and/or process fluid.
• Submit technical service reports based on testing results and provide any technical recommendations if necessary.
• Maintain and service the online analytical equipment.
• Maintain and service the dosing equipment on-site.
• Manage the chemical inventory on-site and ensure there is sufficient chemical.
• Place orders for replenishing chemicals and arrange for delivery and top-up of chemicals.
• Review and study treatment trends to identify potential problems with the treatment and proactively propose remedy actions.
• Support the Account Manager in providing data and preparing trends and charts to run a business review with customers.
• Perform troubleshooting and engage customers to solve treatment challenges.
• Ensure all critical KPIs are met and make any necessary corrections to the treatment program to ensure KPIs are met.
• Technically competent to support customers in identifying areas of improvement and running projects that could help customers optimize treatment costs or generate other forms of savings.
• Occasionally support customers over weekends or on shift work for specific troubleshooting or treatment recovery.

Requirements

• Chemical/Environmental or equivalent engineering degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Possess a Class 3 driving license.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
