Responsibilities

As a Finance Accountant, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:

• Lead projects and new initiatives and implement ING’s business strategy and policy
• Analyze the impact of new accounting implementations and new products
• Liaise with regional finance and tax, as well as external auditors and tax firms
• Monitor head office reporting and local regulatory reporting returns
• Review daily and monthly closings and guide junior staff
• Ensure full compliance with all internal and regulatory rules and regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the banking industry
• Strong expertise in accounting for financial instruments, with in-depth understanding of IFRS 9 standards
• Proven analytical capabilities, with a proactive mindset and strong curiosity to explore and learn
• Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English, with the ability to work effectively in a bilingual environment
• Demonstrated high level of commitment, ownership, and accountability in assigned responsibilities
