Finance Business Partner

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a public sector organisation in Antrim, GB. This role is a full-time position and offers a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely financial information and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Advise budget holders on budgeting, forecasting, and in-year financial performance.
• Develop financial forecasts and support the costing of research and business development opportunities.
• Provide financial advice to ensure public funds are managed appropriately, with probity, regularity, and value for money.
• Support internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial policies.
• Assist with the development and implementation of financial systems and reporting processes.
• Support annual accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide professional financial advice to support effective decision-making.

Requirements

• Hold a full current membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g., CAI, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, or CPA Ireland).
• OR, have at least 1 year’s practical experience in financial planning/budgeting, management accounting, financial accounting/audit, financial systems development, or strategic planning and decision support within a finance or regulatory environment.
