An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing, innovative business based in Wiltshire. Working directly alongside the Managing Director, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business growth, influencing strategic decision-making, and building the financial foundations needed for the next phase of the company's journey. This is far more than a traditional finance position. It's a genuine opportunity to become a trusted advisor to senior leadership, with a clear pathway towards a future Finance Director position.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Produce monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Manage cash flow, financial controls and overall business performance.
• Deliver insightful reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and scalability.
• Support strategic projects, investment decisions and future growth initiatives.
• Strengthen finance systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
• Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted finance partner.
• Contribute to the development of a high-performing and commercially focused organisation.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, Commercial Accountant or similar role.
• Skills:
  • Strong experience managing management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent P&L, cash flow and financial reporting experience.
  • Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ambition to progress your career.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Qualifications:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Experienced in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
  • Familiar with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Knowledgeable in UK financial reporting and financial controls.
