About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in Malta. This is a new position with exciting opportunities for growth and development. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for financial management accounting tasks, particularly for new entities that will be established. Reporting to the Finance and Reports Manager, you will be an integral part of our financial controlling team.

- Collaborate with the Finance and Reports Manager
- Contribute to the financial controlling team
Requirements
- Demonstrated stability in employment history; we prefer candidates who have shown commitment to their previous roles.
- Previous experience in Big4 firms (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC) in auditing and financial sectors, or in auditing firms is highly preferred.
- Exposure to global environments through audit firms or companies with international operations.
- Experience in similar payment industries or gaming/financial services industries is advantageous.
- EU citizenship or Maltese citizenship is required; we do not provide work permit visas.
- Candidates from Malta will be prioritized, followed by those from nearby countries (Italy, Spain, or Poland).
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid style, with three days in the office and two days at home.
- Willingness to undergo a 6-month probation period; salary during probation will remain consistent with the first month.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment.
- Immediate availability is preferred due to the urgency of the role.
