Financial Controller

About the Position

Our client, a highly successful and fast-growing specialist provider of engineering and technical services to the multinational manufacturing sector, have now engaged with us in Cpl to assist them in recruiting an experienced Financial Controller who will lead their finance team and help drive the next stage of company growth. Responsibilities

• Reporting to the site-based Director of Operations, you will be a key part of the senior leadership team and be responsible for leading the finance function as well as providing strategic financial direction and governance across all aspects of business operations.
• Take ownership of the monthly and annual close processes.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and performance reports.
• Oversee risk/compliance and audit processes.
• Coordinate and implement annual budgets.
• Provide financial guidance to commercial and technical leaders.
• Lead business transformation projects.
• Mentor and support your team in their own duties.
• Liaise with the global CFO on all relevant projects for your region.

Requirements

• 3rd level degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant - Big 3 training preferred but not essential.
• 6-7+ years experience in a Finance Controller, Finance Manager, or similar level role ideally.
• Experience gained supporting international entities would be a major advantage.
• Experience in growth planning and expansion strategy would be an advantage.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Proven ERP system experience would be an advantage.

We Offer

• This position is being offered as a permanent role with a salary expected to range up to 90-95k approx.
• In addition, there will be an annual bonus, pension contribution, private health insurance, 25 days AL, etc.
• This role will be a hybrid position with 2-3 days office-based in Limerick city centre and the balance from home/remote so could also suit candidates outside the immediate Limerick region.
• Candidates holding restricted visas or work permits will not be considered and you must be available to interview in person.
