About the Position

We are partnered with a well-established and growing construction company, seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, tax compliance, and strong financial controls across the business.
• Manage accounting functions, prepare management and annual accounts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee payroll, invoicing, and cash flow management.
• Lead the finance team.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce financial risk, and drive continuous improvements in financial systems and processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance position.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
• Strong analytical and commercial awareness.
