About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our growing FinTech product company in Kyiv, Ukraine. In this role, you will be responsible for financial operations, cash flow management, reporting, risk assessment, and participation in the automation of internal financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Process payment system requests and communicate with clients.
- Manage cash flows and optimize working capital.
- Perform daily monitoring and control of account balances.
- Prepare weekly reports in accordance with approved formats.
- Identify and assess financial risks, as well as develop and implement risk mitigation measures.
- Participate in the automation and improvement of payment system processes.
- Transfer and maintain financial data within accounting systems.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).
- Monitor budget performance and conduct plan-versus-actual analysis.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar position.
- Strong proficiency in BAS, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to see the bigger picture, think strategically, and make well-reasoned decisions supported by data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in building accounting or management accounting processes from scratch.
- Experience working with payment systems and foreign currencies.
- Mature, balanced, and responsible personality with strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- English proficiency.
- CIMA, CMA, or other relevant financial certifications.
- Experience in FinTech, payments, or high-risk industries.
