About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) for NATO, you will work directly with customers to understand their challenges and implement data-driven solutions.

Requirements
- Strong engineering background: Preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
- Analytical mindset: Eagerness to solve technical problems using data structures, storage systems, infrastructure, and other tools.
- Experience with large-scale data: Ability to use data to solve valuable business problems.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
- Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals.
- Independent learning and decision-making: Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
What We Require
- Travel: Ability to travel throughout Europe 70-90% of the time.
- Security clearance: NATO Security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Language: Fluency in English.
