About the Position

We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer (Python) to join our team in Barcelona, Spain, in a fully remote role. This position is part of an internal initiative to integrate AI and agentic systems into finance business functions, developing applications that connect AI platform capabilities with finance business users.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions for specific finance business problems, from problem definition through deployment and measurable outcomes.
Translate ambiguous, evolving business requirements into working software directly with business stakeholders.
Build vertical AI applications rapidly on top of an existing AI platform, leveraging RAG pipelines and agentic workflows to solve high-value business problems.
Prototype quickly, delivering a functional UI to business users early in the engagement and iterating based on real feedback.
Deploy solutions inside a regulated environment, respecting governance, RBAC, data residency, audit, and compliance constraints.
Instrument every solution with usage metrics, adoption tracking, and business outcome telemetry.
Work directly with finance business stakeholders, translating their language into technical solutions and back.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Python
Proficiency in FastAPI
Experience with Streamlit
Knowledge of RAG pipeline construction (chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval evaluation, grounding, citation)
Familiarity with LangChain
Skills in prompt engineering with evaluation discipline
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
Experience with REST API design and integration
Fluency in cloud data platforms (at least one cloud provider)
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows
English proficiency at B2 level
