About the Position
Astec IT Services, a leader in consulting, custom software development, and cloud services since 1993, is seeking a Full-Stack Developer (Java, Angular.js) to join our Project Management Consulting practice. We specialize in the automotive, energy, and telecom sectors, helping market leaders unlock their potential through digital innovation. Our teams are hired to advise clients on innovation and to design, build, maintain, and support compliant enterprise software solutions.
We are looking for a long-term employee or contractor to support ongoing development efforts in the Development of Enterprise Project Management Solutions. Join our team to help enterprises improve efficiency by customizing next-generation project management tools.
Responsibilities
- Development of software solutions based on next-gen project management tools using Java and Angular.js/Angular
- Software development according to client requirements, based on user stories, using agile project management methodologies
- Monitor code quality and perform code reviews
- Design, implement, and execute development and integration tests
Requirements
- Experience with Java software development
- Experience with frontend development (preferably Angular.js/Angular)
- Knowledge about software architecture
- Ability to confidently communicate with peers
- Good knowledge of English language (level B2 or better)
- At least two years of commercial software development experience
- Completed higher education in computer science
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of project management best practices
- Knowledge of web application security
- Demonstrated success as part of a distributed team
- Knowledge of German language (level B2 or better)
