Full-Stack Developer (Payments)

Responsibilities

• Shape product decisions related to payment solutions;
• Design, develop, and test payment-related features end-to-end;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to ensure seamless functionality and high performance;
• Take full ownership of implementations from concept to deployment;
• Share best practices and contribute to raising the team’s engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable, highly available, high-load systems;
• ~2 years of experience developing payment features and integrations (direct processors, gateways, orchestrators);
• Strong customer-centric mindset - you make decisions with the end user in mind;
• Solid experience with PHP; Laravel preferred (Symfony will do);
• Experience with React or another modern front-end framework, with a willingness to work in React;
• Familiarity with WordPress and being able to make changes autonomously;
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and development workflows;
• Proficiency with SQL databases;
• Experience in e-commerce, including A/B testing and conversion tracking;
• Hands-on experience with any major cloud provider;
• Understanding of secure web system design and best practices;
• Proactive, autonomous, and strong in analytical problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Symfony;
• Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion tracking;
• Knowledge of secure web system design.
