Full-Stack Engineer | Java & React

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join an international project in Lisbon. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys being hands-on while also contributing to technical decisions, architecture, code quality, and team development. We value adaptable developers who are curious about technologies beyond their core stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and Next.js;
• Design and implement REST APIs and work with SQL/RDBMS;
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions;
• Write unit and integration tests, applying TDD/BDD practices where relevant;
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and troubleshooting;
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices, including GitHub Actions;
• Support technical documentation and knowledge sharing;
• Take ownership of solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience;
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot;
• Experience with React and/or Next.js;
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and Git;
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD;
• Familiarity with Maven and DevOps practices;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to technical decisions;
• Languages: English C1 | Portuguese C1

Nice to Have

• Hibernate/JPA or other ORM technologies;
• Microservices, Hexagonal or Event-Driven Architecture;
• AWS or other cloud platforms.
