Job description
About the Position
We’re opening the position of a Full-Stack Software Engineer to work on a project for an international company that develops software solutions for small and mid-sized municipalities. The project focuses on a product suite that supports key local government operations, including finance, utility billing, HR, payroll, online payments, tax collection, and asset management.
In this role, you will build vertical slices of the platform end to end, from the Angular front end that the user touches, through the API contract, down to the data layer and the Azure services behind it. You are expected to be equally comfortable reasoning about a rendering bug and a database query plan, and you will own the whole path in between. You will be one of two Software Engineers on the platform, working alongside the Team Leader, leaning toward the Angular front end while pulling your weight across the entire tech stack.
This assignment assumes availability of the Candidate till 10:00 PM (Kyiv time).
Responsibilities
- Design and ship complete features across the stack, Angular UI,.NET API, domain logic, and persistence, in a multi-tenant platform
- Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences in our Angular 19 application (NgRx, Signals) and back them with clean, well-tested.NET 10 APIs built on FastEndpoints
- Model data, integrate with EF Core and Azure SQL, and integrate identity & authorization through Auth0 and Azure API Management
- Make design calls at the feature level, document the trade-offs, and defend them in review
- Raise the bar on quality, tests, observability, and performance, for the code you write and the code you review
Requirements
- Availability till 10:00 PM (Kyiv time)
- Depth on both ends: strong C#/.NET skills on the server side and real, current front-end experience on the client side, primarily Angular and TypeScript, with Blazor as a plus, including state management and the browser platform
- Fluency in building for and operating on Azure, with understanding of how your code actually runs in Production
- Ability to make judgement under ambiguity (given a vague requirement, decompose it, choose a design, and justify it, without waiting for someone to draw the boxes for you)
- A finisher’s mindset to care about the last 10%, edge cases, and error states, and experience with handling situations when things go wrong
- English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher
Nice to Have
- Experience with Blazor, .NET Aspire, or Clean Architecture / vertical-slice designs
- Multi-tenant SaaS, government / public-sector software, or ERP / financial systems background
- Expertise in Azure Service Bus, Redis, and Application Insights / structured logging
- Ability to build with generative AI, integrating LLMs, RAG, or AI agents into product features, beyond using an AI code assistant
- Skills to build and own CI/CD pipelines and release management in Azure DevOps
- Experience with GitHub (including GitHub Actions) and Jira, as we are migrating toward these tools
We Offer
- Remote-first work model with flexible working hours (we provide all equipment)
- Comfortable and fully equipped offices in Lviv and Rzeszów
- Competitive compensation with regular performance reviews
- Referral Bonus Program
- 18 paid vacation days per year
- 12 days of paid sick leave per year
- Extra paid leave (blood donation, marriage, childbirth, etc.)
- Health & wellness support: either a monthly budget for medical insurance and sports activities, or a full medical insurance plan, depending on your cooperation model
- Mental Health Program – company-covered psychologist consultations, with an annual coverage limit
- English, German, and Polish language courses and Speaking Clubs
- Corporate merch gifts for your special dates
- Corporate subscription to learning platforms, regular meetups and webinars
- Friendly team that values accountability, innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
- Maternity leave
- Inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and treated equally. We proudly partner with VeteranHub to support Ukrainian veterans
- We are committed to supporting Ukraine and actively participate in charity initiatives
