About the Position

Fullstack Engineer React/Node.js to Waitwhile!

Join Waitwhile as a Fullstack Engineer React/Node.js to contribute to scalable, high-impact features that enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

• Full engineering lifecycle including technical design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Drive improvements to engineering best practices, tooling, and code quality.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, observability, and compliance across services and internal platforms.
• Maintain uptime and performance under enterprise load.
• Improve monitoring, logging, deployment systems, and operational tooling to support long-term platform health.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building web applications.
• Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with Cloud hosting and operations in GCP.
• Comfort in collaborating across the stack to support complete product experiences.
• Great communication skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to cross-functional teams.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Previously worked at a startup or on a SaaS product.
• Exposure to Firebase, Firestore, and/or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, performance tuning, and infrastructure tooling.
