About the Position

We are currently seeking a Fullstack Game Developer for our client, an international software company specializing in the gaming industry, based in Kraków, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Creation of high-quality code for both front-end (JavaScript) and back-end (Java);
• Maintenance, development, and creation of new unique functionalities for the client's internal platform;
• Creation of visually appealing animations and effects;
• Development of algorithms for the game engine;
• Close collaboration with other team members;
• Creation of necessary documentation;

Requirements

• Direct experience with JavaScript and/or Java 8 on the server side;
• Knowledge of OOP and MVC;
• Ability to write clean, easy-to-maintain code that does not require explanations;
• Proficiency with common data structures and algorithms;
• REST API;
• Very good knowledge of the English language;

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of any other object-oriented programming language (especially ActionScript 3);
• Experience with libraries such as PIXI.js, Easel.js, or TweenMax;
• Basic knowledge of modern HTML and CSS;
• Knowledge of WebGL;
• Knowledge of MySQL or any other common knowledge of RDBMS;
• Understanding of unit testing;
• Previous experience in game development;
• Mathematical skills: probability, statistics;
