Fullstack Softwareentwickler (m/w/d)

LIMETEC Biotechnologies GmbH, a subsidiary of the Limbach Gruppe SE, is a communication technology company within the laboratory and medical sector, based in Hennigsdorf, north of Berlin. We plan, develop, and implement custom and innovative IT and software solutions for the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the further development and maintenance of our laboratory order and result communication system in an agile development environment
• Conception, development, and implementation of complex functions and modules of our existing software with current technologies, especially PHP, Symfony, and Doctrine
• Technical implementation applying modern development principles such as Clean Code and Design Patterns
• Documentation of the development and ensuring code quality
• Co-design and optimization of our system architecture in ongoing operations and new projects
• Performance analysis and improvement
• Ensuring software quality in backend and frontend through code reviews, automated tests, and the use of modern testing and analysis tools (e.g., PHPStan and Pest)
• Stakeholder communication between development, product, and test management
• Documentation of technical matters in the ticket system and in the internal knowledge database

Requirements

• Successful completion of a university degree in computer science or a related field, or a successful vocational training as an application developer with relevant programming experience
• Several years of in-depth experience in the development of web applications and solid knowledge in PHP (Symfony, Doctrine), MySQL, as well as JavaScript and Bootstrap
• Knowledge of the React framework, API Platform, and Flyway is advantageous but not mandatory
• A strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, and API design
• Familiarity with common development environments and the version control system Git
• Experience in the implementation of functional and integration tests is desirable
• Self-motivated, structured, and quality-oriented work approach
• Committed team player with high communicative skills, flexibility, and enjoyment in cross-team collaboration
• Very good German language skills
