Functional Support Specialist - Buffalo, NY

Join our Functional Support Team! Become a product expert (no programming skills needed), create solutions, empower customers to use all the features and functions of Odoo, and gather valuable feedback.

Odoo is an open-source enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform that helps companies manage and streamline their operations through a single, fully integrated system. Our modular suite of business applications-from accounting and inventory to CRM and project management-works seamlessly together to support efficiency and growth.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on all of the features and functions within Odoo's software applications
• Provide expertise to clients seeking to use Odoo applications effectively
• Create and effectively deliver solutions to customers across email, phones, and live support
• Maximize customer satisfaction through timely and accurate resolution of customer inquiries/issues
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Developer teams to escalate critical issues
• Gather feedback: our product team loves to crank out features that our users are asking for

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Passion for software
• Demonstrated ability to learn
• Critical thinking skills in a social setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced English language proficiency in a business setting
• Familiarity with general business operations or workflows

Nice to Have

• Ticket, phone, and/or chat based support experience
• Available immediately
• Background in Accounting, Manufacturing, or Logistics
• Additional language proficiencies

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $46,000–$70,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
