About the Position
Whimsy Games is looking for a Game Designer (Slots) to design engaging web-based experiences. This is a fast-paced freelance project offering creative freedom and the chance to create games that players love.

Responsibilities
- Create game concepts aligned with client requirements and market trends.
- Develop Game Design Documents (GDD) outlining gameplay mechanics and features.
- Balance difficulty curves and pacing to maintain player engagement.
- Support graphics, animation, and sound creation (approve, consult, advise).
- Playtesting, analyzing metrics, and improving the product.
- Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that facilitate smooth player interaction, seamless navigation, and clear feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years in game design, focusing on slots gameplay mechanics.
- Upper-intermediate level of English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Strong proficiency in creating and interpreting Game Design Documents (GDD).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of current market trends and player preferences in the gaming industry.
- Experience with data analysis and using insights to drive design decisions.
- Solid knowledge of creating engaging and balanced gameplay spaces.
- Basic mathematical knowledge for slot balancing.
- Passion for gaming and a drive to create immersive and memorable player experiences.
