Google Cloud Security Engineer

About the Position

At ING Hubs Spain, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Google Cloud Security Engineer to join our ING Global CISO Team. This department is responsible for IT security within the ING group and provides services for many organizational units worldwide. Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and resilience of Azure Public Cloud infrastructure.
• Implement Vulnerability Management processes and controls.
• Validate and enforce secure configurations of cloud-native solutions.
• Work with containerized environments (e.g., AKS, K8S, Docker).
• Use version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Azure (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Communicate ideas, facts, and opinions clearly.
• Identify issues, analyze key information, make connections, and find appropriate solutions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of security features in GCP Public Cloud platform.
• Experience in implementing Vulnerability Management process and controls.
• Experience in validating and enforcing secure configurations of cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with containerized environments (e.g., AKS, K8S, Docker).
• Experience in using version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Azure (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of security features in OCI Public Cloud platform and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Experience with ETL, data analytics, and reporting solutions (e.g., Apache NiFi, Kafka).
• Knowledge of network implementations.
• Familiarity with the Kusto Query Language.
• Documentation as Code (Sphinx, reStructuredText).
• Strong interest in learning new and emerging technologies.
• Cloud and security certificates.
