Graphic Designer / Brand Designer

About the Position

Boosters is a Ukrainian product company. We create global products in the areas of EdTech, Productivity, and Wellness, which bring value to 55 million people. For us, it is important to build products with long-term impact - systemic, scalable, and able to remain relevant for decades.

You may have already seen our spin-offs - Avrora and Promova.

We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer / Brand Designer to develop the employer's brand Boosters, especially in the post-redesign period.

The main focus of the role is to create high-quality visual communication for both external audiences (candidates, partners, community) and internal company communication. Additionally, this role supports product teams, helping with graphic materials where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the development of the Boosters brand. We are just at the beginning of our journey after the redesign, and there are still many carriers, formats, and touchpoints that need to be updated or created from scratch. This is an opportunity to work almost from scratch, not maintaining a ready-made system, but forming it.
• The opportunity to not just complete design tasks, but to actively contribute to the development of the style, propose your own solutions, develop the visual language of the brand, and directly influence what Boosters will be like in the coming years.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the fundamental principles of graphic design: typography, composition, modular grids, color, visual hierarchy.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Basic proficiency in motion design tools (After Effects or equivalent) for creating simple animations.
• Understanding of branding principles and building brand systems: ability to work within the style and develop it.
• Experience in creating templated design systems and scalable libraries of graphic materials.
• Understanding the specifics of design for various channels: social media, presentations, print materials, merchandise, email communications, and web.
• Experience in preparing layouts for print and knowledge of the basic requirements of various production technologies (printing, merchandise, souvenir products).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or no-code/web-coding tools for automating the creation of graphics is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools in the design process (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Firefly, Flux, Figma AI, etc.) to speed up work and automate routine tasks.

• Pre-screen with the recruiter (45 minutes)
• Interview with the Lead Product Designer (1.5 hours)
• Test task
• Bar-raising (1 hour)
