About the Position

Group Leader – Project Purchasing Electronics_ M

The Group Leader leads the project purchasing team for electronic components used in electronic control products within Mobility Solutions China, driving cost competitiveness, quality, supply security, and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the team, manage performance, and strengthen team capabilities.
• Project Purchasing: Drive purchasing activities for electronic components throughout the product development and project lifecycle.
• Purchasing Performance: Ensure competitiveness in cost, quality, and supply security.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Project Management, Commodity Purchasing, and Purchasing Quality to achieve project targets.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify risks and optimization opportunities to improve purchasing performance.

Requirements

• Personality and Working Style: Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; results-oriented with a focus on employee development.
• Experience and Know-how: Several years of purchasing experience, preferably in automotive electronics or electronic control products; knowledge of electronic components and project purchasing is preferred. Team leadership experience is an advantage.
• Education: University degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Languages: Business-fluent English and Chinese.
