GTM Product Manager — B2B Banking

About the Position

Spendbase is a fintech company building products that help businesses manage their money, payments, and spending more efficiently.

We're looking for a GTM Product Manager to own the relationship with our API clients - from integration and testing to ongoing support and growth. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who's comfortable being the main point of contact for technical and commercial conversations, understands how banking and payment infrastructure works behind the scenes, and knows how to turn client needs into product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the client journey from onboarding and API integration through testing, launch, and ongoing growth
• Be the main point of contact for API clients, resolving operational issues and answering technical questions
• Guide clients through integration and coordinate testing, including initiating transactions on the sandbox together with the client
• Understand BIN-level specifics for each client and how that affects their setup and performance
• Discuss and align on commercial terms such as cashback with API clients
• Identify opportunities to grow client transaction volumes, and distinguish which client requests will genuinely move the needle versus "nice to have" asks
• Collect client feedback and translate it into clear product requirements, influencing the roadmap and deciding which features are must-haves for onboarding versus lower priority
• Understand how the affiliate market works, including recognizing fraud patterns on a BIN level (e.g. clients attempting to scam Meta/Google) and knowing when to close such accounts
• Work closely with engineering to unblock client issues and push integration forward
• Coordinate product launches and make sure new functionality is delivered smoothly
• Monitor product and client performance, using data to make informed decisions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Product, Implementation, Solutions, Customer Success, or a similar client-facing role in fintech, payments, banking, or a related transaction-heavy environment
• Experience working directly with B2B or API clients, including technical conversations
• Solid understanding of APIs and integrations - comfortable enough to initiate test transactions and troubleshoot alongside a client
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to spot fraud or risk patterns
• Comfortable discussing and aligning on commercial terms with clients
• Ability to understand customer needs and turn them into actionable product priorities
• Strong communication skills and ownership - you'll be the face of the product for external clients
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with cashback, incentive, or commission negotiations
• Experience with banking-as-a-service, payment providers, or embedded finance
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in financial products
• Experience working with international markets and multiple currencies
