About the Position

Head, DMart Operations (SG)

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Head of DMart Operations for Singapore. As a key member of the quick commerce leadership team, you will oversee coordination between sales, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure sales growth, operational efficiency, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Managing Dark Stores, Central Warehouses & Distributors: Oversee operations through third-party partnerships.
• Operational OKRs and Processes: Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational objectives and key results.
• Strategic Decision Making: Utilize relationships with department heads, external partners, and stakeholders to make informed operational decisions.
• Key Metrics Analysis: Plan, monitor, and analyze metrics to ensure efficient task completion and operational health.
• Growth and Process Improvement: Devise strategies to support growth and implement process improvements.
• Compliance and Budget Management: Ensure adherence to company policies, laws, and regulations, and manage budgets.
• Productivity Optimization: Analyze productivity data to optimize staffing and production capacity.
• Industry Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of sector challenges and opportunities.
• Process Design: Design new processes to enhance quality, productivity, and profitability.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimally 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Supply chain logistics
• P&L Knowledge: Understanding of profit and loss drivers.
• People Management: Experience managing team leads who oversee warehouse managers and pickers.
