About the Position

AnyMind Group, a global IT mega-venture founded in 2016, is seeking a Head of HRBP to lead HR and organizational strategy in Japan. This role is pivotal in driving business transformation and cultural integration within the company.

With over 2,300 employees, including approximately 600 in the Tokyo office, the company offers one-stop IT solutions in D2C manufacturing, e-commerce, logistics, marketing, digital transformation support, and cross-border deployment. AnyMind Group went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in March 2023 and aims to achieve sales of over 57.3 billion yen by 2025 and 105 billion yen by 2027.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HRBP Support: Lead the identification and resolution of HR and organizational challenges aligned with business strategies, working closely with Japanese management and business leaders.
• Business Understanding and Trust Building: Deeply understand the company's complex business (media, e-commerce, marketing, etc.) and build trust with on-site teams to implement initiatives swiftly.
• Organizational Management and Development: Manage and develop HR professionals who have transitioned from business roles, ensuring high team performance.
• Overall HR Domain Promotion: Oversee the execution and improvement of HR operations, including recruitment, engagement, performance management, and leadership development.
• Organizational Integration in M&A: Drive the integration of corporate culture and ensure organizational and operational alignment in M&A activities within Japan.
• Global Collaboration: Work with the Global HR BP team to optimize and implement global policies for the Japanese market. (Regional roles are also available in the future)
• Reporting Line: Report to the responsible officer of the Japanese subsidiary and the Group COO.

• Leadership Experience: Manage a hybrid HR team, enhancing your HR expertise while maximizing organizational output.
• Career Advancement: Potential to advance to Head of People, Japan, or global roles within the company.
• Global Initiative Promotion: Collaborate with the Global HR BP team to implement global HR projects in Japan, given that over half of the company's revenue comes from overseas.

Career Path

This position offers diverse career paths beyond becoming the HR head of the Japanese subsidiary:

• Head of People, Japan: Oversee the entire HR organization in Japan, driving organizational development from the top.
• Regional HR / Global Talent Lead: Lead regional roles or global projects based on your performance in Japan, supporting HR organizations in other APAC locations.
• Participation in Business and Management: Expand your domain to business and management executives or site management layers using your strong business understanding and HR expertise.

Requirements

• HRBP or HR Planning and Promotion Experience: Experience in rapidly growing and changing environments (startups or mega-ventures), translating business challenges into HR initiatives, and executing them hands-on. Experience in driving organizational change management is a plus.
• Grit and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong drive to analyze and execute tasks in chaotic and high-speed environments.
• Curiosity and Learning Ability: Ability to understand and delve into unfamiliar business models (such as the company's various platforms).
• Management or Leadership Experience: Ability to lead a team and achieve results together, and influence executives in the business.

Preferred Skills

• Business-level English proficiency (ability to read and write at a minimum level for collaboration with Global HR BPs; fluency may lead to early involvement in regional projects).
• Strong passion for organizational development, talent cultivation, and corporate culture building.
• Data-driven thinking to derive insights and the essence of challenges.
